Established in 1997, Grey Lady Marine is renown as a full-service, high quality marine facility on Nantucket island. Offering a complete range of services from mechanical repairs and yearly maintenance to hauling/launching, storage and expert fiberglass and painting. We have all your boating needs covered.

Our state of the art facility at 13 Arrowhead Drive offers two mechanical bays, boat building bay, spray booth, a wood shop located on the second floor mezzanine deck, motor shop and outdoor rack storage. At our location on the water at 96 Washington Street we continue to provide hauling/launch and fuel sales.

Throughout the years we have provided our customers with exceptional marine service. We continue to offer the same quality of service with the same familiarity and knowledge that you have come to expect. Valet

No Mooring? No Slip? No Problem! Your boat when you want it. Valet is a hassle free way to take your boat out on the water. Valet Service provides:

Dry Dock Storage
Boat Transport to the Harbor
Launching and Hauling
Convenient Parking
Peace of Mind During Storms
Cleaning and Fueling Upon Request

All you need to do is call our valet number two hours ahead of time. Leave a message and let us do the work. Your boat will be waiting for you at our dock on time every time. Valet is just a phone call away! Your boat when you want it.

Storage

Grey Lady Marine’s outside storage area is available for boats ranging in size from 8 ft. to 32 ft. We can accommodate up to 200 boats during the winter season.

Our facility offers a well lit, secure area, so that customers can feel confident with leaving their boats during the winter months.

We also provide shrink wrapping for those customers wishing to protect their boat from the harsh winter elements.

Parts & Ship Store

Our parts room and ship store is stocked with a full selection of cleaning supplies, first aid equipment and engine parts.

We carry the full line of West Systems, Mercury and Yanmar products, just to name a few. Dockside gas and diesel fuel, bait and
ice are also available during the summer season.

If we do not have what you are looking for in stock or you are in need of those hard to find items, we will work with our suppliers to get them to you, fast.

Moorings & Barge

Our complete mooring service is made up of the following:

Mooring Launching and Hauling

Yearly Mooring Inspection and Maintenance
Town of Nantucket Mooring Permit Renewals

Our newly constructed 28’ Barge is able to accommodate up to 2000lbs. Salvage work and dock installations are also available.

Hauling & Launching

Our 25BFM Marine Travelift is capable of lifting up to 55,000 pounds and boats 52’ in length and 16’ in width. Grey Lady Marine is the only marine facility on Nantucket Island to have a Travelift capable of hauling and launching boats of such size.

Also equipped with a Jib Crane, our Travelift is able to step/ unstepping sailboat masts/spars and install towers.

Our technicians hold Massachusetts Hoisting licenses that assure safety and confidence during each haul.

Fiberglass Repair

Custom Painting

Our state of the art spray booth is a Positive Pressure Cross Flow Spray Booth is able to accommodate boats up to 14’ in width, 40’ in length and 16’ in height.

This highly advanced booth is controlled by a one million one hundred thousand BTU heater and hot air cure system allowing for quicker dry time. The 270-degree florescent lighting system will leave any boat with a flawless finish.

We have an array of color palettes to choose from by top paint manufactures such as Awl grip and Alex Seal.

We encourage customers that are interested in scheduling a paint job, to contact us. We will be happy to work up an estimate for you and discuss future scheduling.

Our certified trained marine technicians are experienced in all areas of mechanical service and repairs. From general spring commission, winterization and service calls to repowers, warranty work, electrical repairs and electronics design, repair, installation and modifications.

Grey Lady Marine is a certified dealer for Mercury and Yanmar engines.
